wow, shoji lake was quite the experience, if you enjoy hard beds and lights waking you at dawn. I dare say, I expected at least a complimentary snack for my trouble. the view was nice, but that hardly makes up for the outdated decor. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

We had an awesome time soaking in the private hot springs and enjoying the lovely rooftop terrace with views of Mt. Fuji. The only downside was that the hallways felt a little outdated, but our room was modern and cozy. Pro tip, grab some snacks from the lobby before dinner, as options nearby close early! 🌟

I stayed in a Twin Room for 3 nights, and the beds were super comfy! Plus, the view from the room of Mt. Fuji and the lake was stunning. The onsen was a highlight, especially being able to soak at night! The room had a cozy vibe, but it felt a bit old in some areas. Overall, it was a great experience and the hospitality made it extra special.
